German Levels
German placement test according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
A1 Level
In everyday life, you can express and introduce yourself in German in simple language. If the other person speaks slowly and uses expressions that are commonly used in everyday life, you can get along.
A2 Level
With uncomplicated sentences, you can easily communicate and understand each other in everyday life, whether it’s about shopping, hobbies or a trip in the past.
B1 Level
You can easily understand what’s being said on familiar topics and express yourself in outlines. You can explain events, plans and your thoughts about something.
B2 Level
You can understand scientific texts, which can also include abstract topics. When talking to a native German speaker, you can keep the conversation going and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of current issues.
C1 Level
You can understand German newspaper texts on most topics. When having a conversation with a native German speaker, you can choose the appropriate words and express yourself without looking for too many words. You can pursue your professional or academic life in German.
C2 Level
You can understand everything you read and hear. You can express yourself fluently, explain your feelings and thoughts in detail, elaborate, elaborate and even create literary expressions in German.
